What's the bigger (Sainbury's, ASDA, Waitrose, etc) supercentre in London?

Whats it like to live in London?

  • The first two years of my life I spent in London, but of course I can't remember that, I then moved to Somerset, where I have lived ever since. I'm planning on moving back there when I'm 18, so whats it like to live there, do the Tourists get to a annoying height, or is there just the righ amount of tourists in London. Is it safe, my parents say it is, and any other details you can add, please don't be afraid to put in, what do you enjoy or hate about it, etc. Thank You

  • Answer:

Tourists are not a problem. It's nice to know they want to come and see us. You won't see them unless you are in the centre, anyway. It's a busy place. You won't find it as friendly as Somerset. Friendships are superficial. If you have a job in the centre, your workmates could live miles away from each other on the opposite ends of London, so you won't see them after work. It's dirty. Your shirts will be filthy each day. It's congested. Travelling by car is slow. On the other hand, it's an exciting place to be. It's very good when you are young. There is lots to do, whatever your tastes. I Lived and worked there for a while and loved it. I still like to visit.

Why go and live in London? It is not that safe considering approximately 251 people die in London everyday. There are plenty of tourists there too. The advantages of living in London is that the scenery is spectacular and there is many things to do. I currently live near Leeds but when I am old enough I'm going to fly straight out to North Carolina, America and study there for a few years. (:

Life in London is thought to be grey and hard. It is thought to hold the key to money and opportunity.London life is swarming with people on telephones, looking at watches and noting changes in the financial market by the second. But its also nice to live here

Busy. Everyone is so busy working and spending to enjoy life. 99% of workers in fast foods/retails/restaurants seem to be from India, Pakistan and African continents. Hard working and polite people though. It is more suitable for financial professionals who are happy to stay in the office from 9 till 5pm.

ASDA, chavs, binge drinkers...good times at Wembley and Twickenham, though
