What would I wear in London and Paris mid March?

I'm taking a trip to london and paris in late december, what kind of clothes should i wear due to the weather?

  • I don't really hve any idea how the weather is in london and paris in late december/early january. is it REALLY snowy there? should i wear a puffy huge jacket or is a wool peacoat sufficent to keep me warm? it would also be nice if you provided a picture of a jacket that is needed from any shopping websites like alloy, delias, nordstrom, abercrombie, forever21, etc. is this jacket, http://store.delias.com/item.do?categoryID=1386&itemID=46182&sizeFilter=&colorFilter=&brandFilter= , good enough to keep me warm in london and paris or is it not thick enough? or should it be more big and warm like this: http://store.delias.com/item.do?categoryID=1384&itemID=46313&sizeFilter=&colorFilter=&brandFilter=

  • Answer:

London weather is very variable just now. You may find sunny but still cold days or it might rain. Snow is unlikely, we don't usually see that before late January and then in London there wont be much. Temperatures rarely go below zero. So your choice of coat is down to how you feel the cold. Do be prepared for rain though! As for Paris, I think it's much the same. Wisest to take something more like the second coat. The first doesn't look that warm.

bon voyage. and wear wool -- very warm underneat...it is quite chilly and it gets to your bones...so do not hesiate to wear doubles...good luck... ps. as for the style you are the best judge, if i were you i would forget about style...and concentrate on keeping warm...since the humidity factor in those places is ..quite high.

Take warm stuff and something waterproof - you wont find snow (probably) but it will be wet and dark and cold. So I always pack layers - you can strip off if you get hot in a house but you will need a coat for outside and an UMBRELLA!

In December there is probably no snow in London or Paris. I think all stars shoes are warm enough (exept when you get cold very fast). Both of the jackets are ok, I think. Late December it's probably about 5 degrees centigrade. It can drop til about 0, but probably not below 0. Don't hesitate to bring a raincoat or umbrella. There is more chance for rain then snow. Have fun!
