I am going to London in 6 Months whooopie....what are somethings i should prepare myself for?
-
I will be there for 10 days and I want to make sure I see all the attractions and stuff. Any fun places you can think of would be such a big help! :) Or if you have any helpful tips about traveling that would be a huge help too! My first time flying :) Thanks!!!

Answer:
You will be here in April so you wont need a winter coat unless you plan to be out at night, then you might get a bit chilly. Bring a light jacket for the day/cardigans. Skirts and tights are fine. Also an umbrella. april is our wet season usually.... Look into oyster cards vs travel cards. See which is cheaper for your needs. I did my first time flying last year, was so nervous but I loved it. I love planes now. If your ears pop, yawn

ask to get a seat on the right side of the plane with a window seat. You can see the london eye , buckingham place and big ben from the sky, its awesome! I did a lot of walking while i was there. Take the tube to westminster station when you get out big ben is right there and its so awesome to see it so close up, turn around and london eye is right there Wow! from there you can walk on either side down the thames and see a ton of things or walk past bigben and see other things. from this tube station u can walk to (in various amounts of time):tate modern museum, globe theater, tower bridge (its not called London bridge) the tower of London (Im going inside next time),westminster abbey, st pauls catherdral. the parliment buildings (with big ben) buckingham palace, pall mall, st james park and a ton of things i am forgetting. Go on a "walk" with london walks there are a ton to chose from (I went on the british museum one and plan to do a beachcombing walk or a pub crawl. Harrods is my favourite place for souvenirs.

Its quite cold here even in summer compared to lots of places, so bring warm enough clothes, I hate seeing tourists wandering round shivering dressed like they should be in Miami :)

in london there are some boring places like Buckingham palace, hyde park, big ben and westminster.nothing else. but out of london there are so many exciting places like in south england cornwall, wales, scotland, many more

homeless people, crowds, and high prices. But the atmosphere in London is always great. Be aware that at night there is many drunk people! But overall it's great fun to be in London, whatever you're doing :)
