Where to go out in London?

Where to go in London?

  • me and some friends are planning a trip to london and we are having trouble finding places to go. we dont want to go to places where the tourists usually go (london eye, London zoo, ect.) we already have a lot of bar and club suggestions so we want something other than bars and clubs.

  • Answer:

-Find a place to eat or just relax around the docklands, its beautiful and relaxing... still in the city, but away from the hustle and bustle. plus you get to take the dlr there which is my favorite transportation system in london. sit in the front train!!! -Make sure you take the tube alot so you can check out some of the music entertainers in the station. There's just something cool about hearing the saxophone echo through the underground walls -Take a walk down Brick Lane (East London) and grab a bite to eat on the London Bus -I know this is touristy, but definitely take the river walk from Tower Bridge all the way to Big Ben. You'll pass tons of street entertainers, a record sale, some fun shops to eat, a cool little skate park with graffiti everywhere, and will just have a beautiful view of the thames -Remember that all the museums are free, so stop in each one to see the main exhibits (there's a lot of junk in the museums too, so research the cool stuff ahead of time... some examples are the rosetta stone, mummies, dinosaurs, etc) -Check out the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain in the park -Buy tickets halfprice in the leiscester square tube station to see a play
