How long does a train journey take from Sussex to Stirling?

How long does it take to get from Sussex to London by car, train, bus, etc?

• I want to do a study abroad program in England and I like this one program at the university of Sussex but I also want to be close to London for day trips and what not like that. There is also a program in Manchester but that is a bit farther from London. I would appreciate any information having to do with study abroad in England and distances between London and Sussex and London and Manchester. Thank you :)

  Sussex University campus is on the outskirts of the city of Brighton and Hove which is on the south coast of England. Brighton is a young trendy city of 250,000 with lots of cafes, bars and clubs. The fastest way to London is by train. There are 4 trains per hour, the fastest of which takes 50 minutes to London's Victoria station. There are very good student discounts on trains and there is also a super advance pre-bookable ticket for £3.50 one way. Manchester is much further away at around 3 hours train journey. Can't give you any information about which course is better.
