Best and Worst Places in London?

What are the best and worst places to live in London?

  • I already know that Hammersmith, Kensington, Fulham, Chelsea, Victoria, Wandsworth, Putney, Wimbledon, Richmond, Petersham, Kingston, Coombe, Chiswick, Ealing, Westminster, Camden, Islington, Battersea, New Malden, Ham, Kew, Roehampton, Greenwich and Barnes are really nice in their own ways. Are there more? I know that Southall, Hounslow, Northolt, Feltham, Hatton, Uxbridge, Cranford, Hanworth, Isleworth, Croydon, Brixton, Peckham and East London aren't great or dangerous. Are there more places to avoid? Please let me know about your experiences of living in London.

    I'm an American. Worked and lived in Croydon for 3 years. It's not dangerous and parts of it are really nice. They have a big shopping center which is nice. And a tram. You can take a 20 minute direct train to Victoria station and be in the thick of it. It's suburban and not really considered "London" but you can get a great deal on a flat and get into the city for dinner.

I lived in strata in elephant and castle, and its amazing, the veiws are spectacullar!!!, we could see tower bridge, st pauls, greenwich towers, the river, and loads of stuff. sadly we moved out though, as the flat wasnt big enough

Islington is great to live in. Tottenham is the one you want to avoid. I grew up there and never realised just how bad it was till I moved out of it. I love east London also. Theres a certain vibe that you get there that I havent experienced in any places of north or west London.

Hounslow is a good area. What you on about? Barnet is nice, Havering too. Most of West London is nice. Bad areas to be added are Hackney, Tottenham, Wood Green, Edmonton, Ponders End, Enfield Lock, Lambeth, and the list goes on..

The best place to live in London is Buckingham Palace and the worst is a Brixton sewer pipe.
