Beaches in London?i would like make a man made beaches!?

    If you saw the rubbish that people threw into the Thames you wouldn't want to be anywhere near it! bodies, traffic cones, bikes, shopping trolleys all get washed up eventually but its no where you'd want to drink a mojito! If you want a beach - take the train to Bournemouth.

We used to have a man made beach here in London, along the shoreline of the River Thames near Tower Bridge. That was way back in the 1950s. I doubt there is one in Central London but i do know there is a man made beach in Ruislip. It's called Ruislip Lido. There is the beach, a pub/restaurant, a train, woods and cows (if you like that sort of thing!!) But Ruislip Lido is quite nice for a London beach! xoxox
