Can you live in London without a car?

I hate driving. I walk everywhere or use public transportation. Driving your own car is a big pain in the ***.

The nearer the centre you live, the easier (and more practical) it is.

it's far easier, quicker and cheaper to get around without a car. The tube system is fast and efficient, and the congestion charge makes it not cost-effective to drive within the city.

use a moped it's so easy to get round and it's cheap and fun and you can piss off the other drivers

London has good transport links, so if you don't have a car you will still be able to travel around easily. Central London has a congestion charge zone, which is £8 per day if you drive into it. A daily travel card which will allow you to travel around the whole of the city, using London transport will cost you £6.30. Also, London has a lot of strict parking restrictions and traffic can get quite bad in rush hours too. If possible, I would recommend not having a car, but this depends on your requirements and if you can afford it.

Yeah, in fact it's probably better not to have a car in London. Becuase if you live in the city it's hard and more expensive to find houses with parking space. With travelling you can use trains, tubes and busses. Cheaper tha buying petrol and paying congestion zone charges.
