Answer:
North End is the main high street in Croydon, there are two HMV's on it. Get yourself down to either London Victoria or London Bridge, from there catch a train to either East Croydon or West Croydon. East Croydon will be better as is quicker service and train but walk to north end will be longer West Croydon is 2 minutes from the closest HMV but Trains are slow and infrequent. Okay so assuming to go to east croydon, come off the platform walk up the ramp and though the barriers, walk out of the station and turn RIGHT you are now on George Street, walk down this road until you come to a major pedestrian crossing. trams and buses should be coming from your Right. cross into the middle section and you will have to watch for cars and buses coming from your left. cross over this road and carry straight on down the road in front of you (i.e on the other side of the crossing) walk to the end of this road and you will come out at the end of NORTH END, turn right and you will see all the shops and shopping centres in front of you, both HMV's will be on your left as you walk down the road, the first one is just after DEBENHAMS it is in the entrance to a shopping centre. if this is the one you are looking for then cool. if it isn't walk past it and carry on until you are nearly at the end of north end. on your left you will see a very large HMV. (it is oppersite the massive M&S) if you arrive at West Croydon, then walk out of the station turn left and walk up the road for 30 seconds, you will again come to a busy crossroads, cross straight over and you will be in North End (the oppersite end to East Croydon) in this case both HMV's will be to your right, the Massive one will be the first one you see, and if not that one, carry on until you see the shopping centre (it is a big white building) with a big overhang above the doors (it is not the Whifgift centre which is the shopping centre over the road from the one you may need to look for) hope this helps
