Victoria tube station rush hour?

Agree with the above answerer, technically "rush hour" is for commenter's, and is more like 7/7.30 to 9.30 BUT with Victoria you see a lot more footfall because of the links with the overground trains and obviously its location, so it's more popular with tourist, so there's a general dribble of people all the time. But tourists are never in as much rush as the commenter's, if that's any help? In addition, which day are you travelling? Fridays and Saturday always seem to be busier and have an extended "rush hour" period. Fridays especially when I go to work early, there seems to be a lot more people about but even then it's not a proper "rush hour" crowd. Its just because you're used to seeing 3 people at that time in the morning!! Its really not that bad, the queue part is just the getting on and off the escalators, and if there are slow walkers, I don't think you'll have many problems. Which line are you planning on using? The congestion usually occurs along the tunnels when you are switching lines, rather than entering and going straight to a line, which if I correct is what you are doing, so expect people, but not that many that you will have to wait for 2 or 3 trains.
