London Zoo/Zurich zoo....Which is worth seeing?

We are visiting Zurich this weekend.As there are many attractions in Switzerland Is it worth seeing Zurich Zoo? As we stay in UK we can have a visit to London zoo too though,we haven't visited London zoo either. Genuine Suggestions are really appreciated because we have just a day for Zurich City tour.

Why not do both? I quite like London Zoo although it is ridiculously expensive and costs a silly amount to park (£15) nearby so take public transport if you can. They used to have a promotion that if you kept your train ticket then you got 1 person in free, check National Rail website to see if that is still on. If you have kids then Battersea Park Children's zoo and the Deen /Vauxhall city farms are good things for them to do as the main zoo can be tiring for little feet.

I have never been to Zurich zoo so can't comment, but London zoo is not very good. It is very small and does not have a large selection of animals but is still HUGELY expensive for a ticket despite all that. It's really disappointing that a major world city like London doesn't have a good zoo, but I think it's mainly because the zoos location in Regents Pk doesn't allow them to expand to a size needed for a good zoo.
