How do get a job before you move somewhere?

How can you get a job in London, before you move there?

• Hi, I'm wanting to go back to Uni next September, I currently live in Newcastle but I'm wanting to study in London. I'm fully aware that this can't be achieved without a job. Now, how does one get a job in London, without really being available for interview considering the costs to get down there are extortionate. :/ Please help me? People do it all the time, I've just never actually got how it's done. Also, as a side question, how much is the cost of living down there?

  The cost to travel to/from London/Newcastle is not as bad of what you think it is providing you book your tickets well in advance. as return coach ticket can cost you as little as £16 with megabus. If on the other hand you really don't want to travel to London, you can apply for jobs in London and if you get an interview you could see if the employer is willing to interview you over the phone. The other option would be if you got a job in say your local Tesco, Adsa, etc in Newcastle and then ask for a transfer when you come down to London
