How long can a Canadian stay in the US for a vacation?

How long can I stay in london on vacation? and other questions...?

• can I stay in london from mid july to september 20th with nothing more than my passport? ive heard something about you have to have a reason to go you can't simply just go such as work school etc... is this true? or can I go to visit? is there any other documents I will need to get? Will my laptop (newer hp) work there? is 1000 pounds going to be enough to last me that time range if the only things I have to pay for are restaurants/entertainment/transport/shop… Is it easy to meet people there? any additional info or similar experiences would be much appreciated.

  okay i sort of get your question? ill try answer it :) umm yes of course you can go over to london and visit you dont have to have a reason like school or work all though if you are staying there a fair while you might have to pick up some work and prove that you are capable of working and pulling you weight in their country but if not then yes i think 1000 pounds will get you pretty far for the little things you need. if you mean what i think you mean by documents and stuff then i would say yeah, your gonna need some sort of proof and papers explaining why your there and what you want. that is to get past the people at the airport and such, you know? those guys that suss you out and stuff?
