  • Answer:

In England, we don't have high school. We have Primary (Depends on school, but it goes up to age 11), Secondary school (11-16) and Sixth Form OR College (16-18), then Uni (18+). There is Liverpool Uni if you're 18 and over, and you can live on that campus. There are LOADS of secondary schools there, and you can look at them here: http://www.liverpool.gov.uk/Education_and_learning/Schools_and_colleges/ This shows ALL of the Schools/Colleges on the list of them that they show. If you want to search for a particular school, then here: http://schoolsfinder.direct.gov.uk/ There you go (For schools). Now, onto the place to stay... The difference between £ and $ is big if you're looking at thousands, so are you sure? But anyway, use Zoopla.co.uk to compare an estimate on what the house is worth and to get a few photos by typing in the road name. If you want to look for either an apartment/flat/Student Home to live in, then you're looking more at Uni places and there aren't really many places. But see if you can find it on here: http://www.findaproperty.com/searchresults.aspx?edid=00&salerent=1&areaid=6562 It's really useful because it finds you a lot of things. But if you're looking for a cheap sale, you'd have to look at a noticeboard at the local supermarket. So if you're looking for a range of things to stay in, then you're looking at http://www.liverpoolpropertysalesandrentals.co.uk/ to help. Hope it helps! ~hk

I believe the British equivalent of a high school is a college. There are several colleges to choose from, and it depends what course you want to pursue. Most take place at Liverpool community college, but specialised course take place at other colleges. For example LIPA is the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, was set up by Paul McCartney in his old school and has students from all over the world learning the skills they need for the entertainment industry. There is loads of student accommodation around the city. We have three universities as well as different colleges, so that would probably be your best way to find accommodation. It can be expensive in the UK though, so you will need to sort your finances out first
