How good is Liverpool University?

  Well don't talk the same way you write because they will not let you in! Liverpool Uni is the original red brick University, it's architecture faculty is one of the best in the country, and it's becoming more popular because the city has a vibrant student culture. Liverpool has 3 uni's (Liverpool, JMU and Hope) and LIPA has an international reputation for teaching the performing arts. It is a vibrant city, the phrase 'the world in one city' used by London in their olympic bid was first used to describe Liverpool. It has many ethnic communities, the oldest Chinese community in Europe, a large Scandinavian community, and was home to first Mosque in Britain. Liverpool School of tropical medicine is older than the London school, was were the link for malaria infection was discovered, and has just had a massive injection of funds from Bill Gates in his campaign to eradicate malaria. Liverpool Sailors brought home influences from around the world, Jazz, Blues and Rock and Roll were heard in Liverpool before any other UK city and is probably why it stole a march in the music scene in the 60's.
