What are good places in Oxford?

Trip to Oxford 1 night stay in Oxford then to other interesting places including Liverpool from Singapore.?

  • Family of three(daughter included here) to witness her graduation in Oxford after which we will travel to some interesting places in London including Liverpool for a period of 7 or more days. We need accomodation also in Oxford maybe for 1 night and after that on packaged guided tours. Tentatively leaving on 12 July 07. Air fares for 2 persons only as my daughter has on her own. Thank you, Lam family

    Oxford - Have your lovely daughter to ring hotels/B&B and make reservation NOW. Dont be slackers or every hotel in town will be booked up because of the graduation. London - guided tour is waste of money I am pretty sure you can travel on your own just like everyone else. You will learn more about the city. Liverpool - yeah, do you mean liverpool the city or liverpool the station. liverpool the station is north east of london where Jack the ripper used to commit his crimes. Liverpool is north west of England where you probably wont understand the accent. Albert Dock is a must go. I presonally like Manchester the most.

Congrats on her graduation. I'm not quite sure what you are asking, but if you are looking for accommodation in Oxford, you can always check out the hotels in that region. Just do a Yahoo search. Same thing for packaged tours, of which you can also check with the tourist information booth when you are there. Liverpool is a city quite faraway from London, but is the place which I presume you want to visit. Unless of course you are talking about Liverpool Street in London which is a major railway station and connected underground station in the north eastern corner of London. To get from London to the city of Liverpool, you probably need to take a train, which can take about 4-6 hours. As for places in London, there are a whole load of attractions there. But then again, I'm not sure if that's what you're asking about. Let me know again if that's what you are interested to know cos then I'll elaborate. Anyway, I was in Singapore not so long ago. Cleanest city I've seen.
