Nice places to live in cheshire for a young single woman.?

  • i'm looking at places to live in cheshire that is safe for a young woman. I am in a well paid job able to afford possibly a mortgage on a 200,000 house after years of saving. I want to be: 1) near a station that serves liverpool and manchester. 2)Near a hospital with maternity services, 3)but most importantly is culturally diverse. Anybody know anywhere? NO i don't want to go to warrington just because of its close proximity to liverpool and manchester and i don't want to go to close to wales. I've been told chester, congleton and Knutsford are nice but are they culturally diverse. Does anyone have any other suggestions about any other surrounding areas that may be better. I live on the south coast but i want to head north! I need many people to answer to give me an idea

    Nantwich perhaps? The station at Crewe has good connections to Liverpool and Manchester. Maternity services are at Leighton Hospital. (Crewe itself is a bit of a dump - Nantwich is much nicer) Also - have you thought of Southport or Ormskirk - not Cheshire but still easily accesible for the two metropolises
