Should I study abroad in Liverpool?

Is liverpool expensive?

  • I'm planning to study on the university of liverpool for the summer program, this is 2 months and I would like to know how expensive is it? I'm staying in the university room's, and i would like to know how expensive is liverpool if I buy and cook my own food like the average per day

  • Answer:

Supermarket prices tend to be pretty samey, all over the UK, but there are always places for good quality bargains for food such as Lidl, Netto and Aldi. The major supermarkets also offer a good choice too, with price conscious people in mind. The ones in the very centre which are smaller tend to be dearer. The bigger ones have the best prices. There are also markets for fresh fruit and veg. You could mange on say £30 per week, if cook with ingredients, and avoid too many processed things;maybe less! Generally Liverpool is a reasonably priced city. Enjoy it. It is a great city with lots of other place near by. Try and see Manchester too which is less than an hour away. Do not forget to see the beautiful, historic city of Chester, which is at the gateway to North Wales which should NOT be missed .Liverpool people love a trip into that which is my part of the world. All best!
