How to get from East Kilbride to Kelvin Hall Sports Arena by train?

Can you get a train from leeds to cannon hall farm?

• im wanting to take my daughter to cannon hall farm this weekend but im not sure how you can get there without a car if you can get there, any info would be appreciated thanks :) x

  Unfortunately not. You can get to Barnsley from Leeds but then you would probably have to get a taxi the rest of the way. You could try ringing Metro at Barnsley to see which bus goes closest to it as the road from Barnsley through to Huddersfield passes about a 1/4 of a mile from the bottom part of Cannon Hall itself. On that road Cawthorne is the closest village. There are probably buses which go the back road through High Hoyland, but that would be a bit of a trek from there and if you are going on the Sunday the buses could be very few and far between. Cannon Hall is in a bit of an awkward place to get to without your own transport even though it is worth the effort to go...they have a Great Easter Egg Hunt on from 29th March to 18th April, entry fee includes a visit to the farm, the adventure playground and the Easter Egg Hunt, and every child wins a prize. We were there last weekend and there was a board saying how many baby animals were expected to be born this, and next week....and it's a lot of them! Good luck, hope you can make it.
