Where can I get my tapes transferred onto DVDs?

So does anyone have any idea?

Well if you know anyone who has the DVD VHS players still you can do it on that. but I'm not sure about any places that do this.

If you still have your vhs player you can put on to your computer and transfer to dvd. If you look around small ads there are lot's of people doing this for a couple of pounds each. Note that some commercial vhs tapes have maxivision and encryption to stop copying.

If you have a lot of tapes, it is probably cheaper to buy your own machine. See EBay, Amazon and http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=354237. There are also cheaper options using your PC. I bought one (a cable and software) and it works. Both Maplin and Amazon supply. I bought mine from Amazon. Remember, you get what you pay for.
