Where should i go for a good saturday night in glasgow?

  • I'm headed to glasgow for a night out, and would like to know where is best to go i love rock music and The Cathouse has been recommended to me i just wonder if there is another club that is better on a saturday?

If your into the Cathouse then u'll like Catwalk as well, it's up the road from the Cathouse. There's also Solid Rock and Rufus T Firefly, or maybe even Firewater. Personally i like the Garage but it's more mainstream, and full of 18year olds!

You could also try The Classic Grand which is also a rock/punk club and just two minutes walk down from the Cathouse (heading towards the river, not up to Central)

The Classic Grand is much better than the Cathouse for a good rock night, especially since the good DJs from the Cathouse walked out and started working in Classic. It also has a great atmosphere. The Solid Rock Cafe is a decent bar to go to beforehand but everywhere will be packed on a Saturday night! Have fun! PS. Catwalk (as mentioned above in the comment above) has now shut down.

Solid Rock on hope street for a drink round to catwalk for another couple of drinks and see if they have any passes for the cathouse then onto the cathouse The cathouse really has the saturday night rock scene sewn up, unless you want live music. Firewater and nice and sleazy on sauchiehall street

not sur what age you are but the cathouse if full of young people. But it is very much rock/punk/emo and everyone dresses up mad and has a great time!
