Anyone been to Barony Castle in Scotland?

• In July, my family and my friend's family(total of 6 people) are going to the UK and need a place to stay in Edinburgh or near Edinburgh. I looked up some castle hotels, and found Borthwick(really cool looking) and Barony that were in our price range. For anyone who has been to Barony, is it nice? does it have that old castle, cool feel to it? Or, if anyone has any other reasonably priced recomendations, please tell! Thanks!
