What is the nearest train station to Wembley Arena, London?

Travel from Dudley(Near Birmingham) to Wembley arena (London)?

  • Me and my Mom are going to see Take That at Wembley arena in London on the 4th of July. We live in Stourbridge which is id Dudley, which Dudley is just a few minutes away from Birmingham. We need transport there and back. I've heard Dudley bus station has a coach that takes you straight to London. How can i find this out? Times, Price etc..? Please help!! Thankyou..x

  • Answer:

it will be the National Express coach you've heard about ... look at the website http://www.nationalexpress.com/ for details and to book tickets the coach comes into Victoria Coach Station ... from there to get to Wembley you would need to walk along the road to the Victoria underground station, take the Victoria line northbound one stop to Green Park and interchange onto the Jubilee line northbound to get to Wembley Park ... have a look at the underground map http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/standard-tube-map.pdf at Victoria underground station you would need to buy a one day travelcard for zones 1-4 cost £6.30 each which would cover not only getting to Wembley but also any other journeys you do on the tube or bus that day

Take bus number 87 or 126. To birmingham. (You must take off at argos). Then take bus number 26 (Bus I always use). It will direct you to coach station. Don't use 50, Coach station has moved to opposite its location. If you cannot find 26; ask anyone but me. They will kindly point you to 26 bus stop. 26 terminates at Bromford (Hodge Hill). Not far from M6. Edit:: 3-4 stops with Bus route 26. (3 Stops if you want take 97, 97A, 50, 57, 57A, 60. But 26 arrives every 20 mins (Usually late). So, if you rather to walk than wait for bus then do 3 stops with buses shown above (Not 26). If you don't know where is coach station or even what it looks like then ask bus driver from 26. Google Earth or online always helps. When you arrived Coach Station then just book a ticket; there's no need for advance booking; London is really popular area so, coaches always arrives every 10 mins.

A noob who never hears

Catch a Chiltern Railways train to Wembley Stadium Station from Birmingham Snow Hill or Moor Street; this is the quickest and cheapest way; they have one way tickets from £6 booked via your mobile phone. www.chilternrailways.co.uk. (On most services you will need to change at High Wycombe)
