Alton towers or Blackpool? and why?

  • Mum says I got the choice of going 2 blackpool pleasure beach or alton towers which is better? and well worth it. I'm from Cornwall so we are coming along way 2 go by train. So we want to go to the best place and the cheapest. we want stay somewhere for 3-4 nights

    Without doubt Alton Towers is the best theme park, but Blackpool is cheaper. I live halfway between the two, and have been to both places. I much prefer Alton Towers as it's cleaner and feels more welcoming. If you go on line, you can buy tickets for both at a discounted price at 365tickets.com.

Blackpool is probably cheaper to stay, however it will cost more to get to by train. I would choose Alton Towers every time, we went to Blackpool last year and we found it dirty and scruffy looking. It looked better in the dark when the lights went on !
