Ideas for a ‘date’ in Birmingham!?

  • Hi, I’ve met a guy and we’re going on our first date next Saturday. He lives in London and is driving up to the Midlands (Birmingham) to see me and we will be having our first official date. He and I are out-going and I need an idea(s) of what we can both do. Any ideas!

You don't say where in Birmingham, or are you just heading for the city centre? If thas the case, depending on what time he's arriving, why not visit one of the bar in the Chinese quarter, go the the theatre ( Hippodrome), and then when you come out, go for a meal in any of the many Chinese restaurants,this way, you don't have to travel far, and everything you wan is in one area. Other than that, make your way along Broad Sreet....you're sure to find somewhere along there to suit your taste.

The mail box is a bit cold and impersonal i think. the icc (symphony hall / near the NIA) has an amazing italian restaurant called Strada, good prices and great food. then you could go across the canal 10 steps from the restaurant to have a drink at a nice place called, The Pitcher and Piano, sometimes they have music there. Or Cafe Rouge is near there too. hope you have a brilliant time :)
