Should visitors to Birmingham be warned about the violence that takes place in the city centre bars at night?

Nowhere in Birmingham looks 'nice and touristy' - it looks like a bit of a dive, really. But nevertheless, those reports are not exclusive to Birmingham. If you look on the internet you could find similar stories about that sort of behaviour in every town and city in the UK. That's the sort of thing that happens when certain people get drunk and rowdy.

Yes people should be warned a plentty when they enter the outermost limits of Birmingham let alone the city centre! That place is like a mini USA with all the cheap fast food, run down buildings, bad crime, filthy streets, heavy traffic and swarms of immigrants.

Visitors coming to Brum would be absolutely insane to come here in the first place, so I doubt that a little bit of harmless night-time violence would really concern them.

Yes. I've been accosted by beggars and drunk yobs right outside the SAS Radisson, Marriot, and Hyatt hotels which are meant to be safe for wealthy tourists

They should be smart enough to figure it out on their own.
