How much is a fast-track ticket at Alton Towers?

Is an Alton Towers Fastrack ticket worth the money?

  • I'm planning on going early - mid July 2011, on a Tuesday and Wednesday. These days are scheduled to be quiet. Should I get a fastrack ticket even though it's supposed to be 'quiet'? (it will be during the Summer afterall, though most of the kids should still be in school at this point.)

    I went around that time last year, and i got fast track ticket but because we went in a big group some of our friends didnt and they really regretted it. Ques were so big that those who did not get fast track only managed to get on 2 - 3 rides in a whole day. It is totally worth it, as you feel privileged being able to slip the que. And if you see others do it, and you dont have the fast track you will simply wish you brought it. Got the one for 3 rides, but i know you can get different ones. I think it had oblivion nemesis and air. Was definitely worth it, because we got on after 10 mins of quing and our friends qued for hours!

Definitely! I've been there and we didn't get the fast track ticket and we had to spend ages in the queues ,its best not to risk it because even though its supposed to be "quiet" (I went there at this time too!) the queues are still pretty long. Also, it wouldn't be THAT quiet then because even though public schools would still be in term time, most private schools wouldn't be. hope this helps. :)

Definitely buy one if you're going during the peak season. It gets busy, and you could well be waiting for 90+ mins for a single ride without one.

not a gd idea to buy but if a ride doesn't work and uve been waiting in the ride for ages and its closing time them you get a fast track ticket :D i got one but i haven't used it yet :P :) x

It depends on how many rides you are going to go on. If you want to go on most of them then buying a fastrack ticket would probably be wise. (P.S. Go on thirteen, it's not that scary but it's fun)! Hope i helped. x
