Duplicate shops in aberdeen?

• Who do i talk to about the fact that Aberdeen is bad enough without all the shops being the same? There are 4 NEXT's, 3 Boots, 2 Marks and Spencers (and the first one is fairly massive you will know if you live in aberdeen. So whats the point in spending £250 million on the brand new Union Square, only to bring in the same shops that are already in the city centre, shops that quite frankly, we have had enough of? Surely there is some committee out there that are there to help the economic growth of Aberdeen? And if me sitting here on my todd can realise that one way to do this would be to stop duplicating shops year after year and moving them from one centre to another thus only creating empty shops again and again rather than bringing in brand new shops aberdeen doesnt have, then surely this committee realise it too? Ok my rant is over, but honestly, does anyone know if there is someone i can bring this 'observation' to?

  You could try airing your views to your local councillor or MP. I agree with your "rant". Some of these stores seem to move every time a new centre opens. edit - how about contacting the Chamber of Commerce, here's a link . http://www.agcc.co.uk/
