What's the local football team in Gumbet, Turkey?

  • I'm going to Gumbet in June and just wondered if there is a football team in Gumbet or if not, what team the locals support? Thanks

    Gumbet is really quite a small place and I don't remember seeing a football team. They certainly don't have one in the top division of Turkish football. When I was in Bodrum which is right next to Gumbet everyone there seemed to support Fenerbahce and seemed to know every result against a British team in the Champions League that they have ever had!

In Turkey the rate of the supporters is this way: 35% Fenerbahce 30% Galatasaray 25% Besiktas 10% others Generally it doesn't show difference at any region of the country. Nowadays it's not surprise to see Fenerbahce fans everywhere due to Ch. League. So this doesn't mean other supporters decreased..

Gumbet local football team is Bodrum Spor, There uniform is green and white. They are not very good so that's why people don't know about them,
