Google Earth in Turkey? Any way to make it work?

I am guessing the YouTube ban is affecting some of the image servers for Google Earth, rendering the program unusable. While it is fairly easy to work around the ban for YouTube by setting a proxy in the browser, Google Earth does not have any proxy settings. Does anyone know how could I make it work?
