Turkish translation please?

Turkish translation help, please!?

  • My recently discovered daughter Sevgi, born in Istanbul to a Turkish woman with whom I had a "relationship" some months (nine months, to be exact!) before, when we were both students in college in San Francisco back in 1982, is coming to visit me next May, and I am studying Turkish to be able to talk with her; and, I want to read the books of the great Nazim Hikmet in the original language, already having read them in English translation. I want to tell a Turkish friend: "My daughter Sevgi is coming to visit me next May." How do I say this in Turkish? Tesekkurler!

    All of the above translations are correct. About reading Nazim(one of my favorites too) in turkish : Its always better to read in the original language but turkish's structure is so different than english.good luck with your studies : ))) and do you know what Sevgi is in english? the answer above is right. thumbs up.. however, you can translate it like this also: "Kızım Sevgi önümüzdeki Mayıs ayında beni ziyarete gelecek." I used future tense (-ecek) because we are talking about the "next" May. By the way, your life would make a really good movie scenario :)
