    are you coming to istanbul? if you arrange the flight (i have no idea if theyre cheap of expensive from cairo) a decent but cheap accommodation can be for 50-60 dollars if you book in advance. so other things, 30-50 liras/person total daily meals (thinking that you go outside for eating), 10-15 liras/person transportation but if you use taxis you probably pay 20-30 (maybe 40) liras for a normal distance. transportation is easy from sultanahmet to taksim. a tram and a finuculaire (cost 4 liras in total max) and youre in taksim. from taksim there is a metro to şişli, levent,nişantaşı. other than this, shopping is cheap, esp during sales. but souvenirs for tourists are not that cheap esp in touristy areas. so briefly daily spending can be as low as 40, as much as 100 (and even more) for each person. flight and accommodation are not included as i said.

Try Air arabia for your international flights.They are pretty cheap but only negative part of this is the landing at the far airport of istanbul called Sabiha gokcen.You can simply catch the HAVAS shuttles which is the cheapest way like 20-25 tl(13€) Then try to find a hotel at the historical peninsula(sultanahmet) which is the centre for all the historical monuments.You can check tripadvisor for the hotel recommendations of the other travelers.If you have enough time try to visit Capadoccia region for 2 full days.You can go there by overnight bus which is like 50tl one way....Or buy full package which is around 160€ for 2 days and 3 nights.Hotel(Cave hotels are nice try them),2 full day guided tour,admissions,lunches during the tours.If you have more time you can combine Pamukkale and Ephesus and Fethiye......Have fun..
