What restaurant has a funky name?

What should I name my Mediterranean/Turkish Restaurant?

  • I am opening this new restaurant is the U.S. / CA - San Francisco. I will be serving kebabs, gyros/shawarma or doner kebabs, chichken/beef/lamb sish kebabs, wraps and some of the mezes etc. This will be a counter service restaurant. No reservation will be needed. Restaurant type can be named as Fast Food or Fast Casual. It will not be a fine dining restaurant. Probably lunch will be busier than dinner. Although I have full liquor license I will be selling only beer and wine, maybe Raki also. I hope you get the idea. I need your ideas. If this was your place what would you name it? Thanks

    How about "Anatolia Turkish Cuisine" or "Cafe Istanbul" Good luck with your new concept and hope it will go well for you. I can highly recommend you to introduce Turkish Pide (Pidda). They are a gourmet style pizzas only better and tastier and Americans loves Pide's.

American people mostly visit Istanbul, Ephesus and Capadoccia. I would name "Istanbul", "Bosphorus", "Topkapi", "Ephesus" or "Capadoccia".

I would name it "Bosphorus". The name of the beautiful strait will be seen by San Franciscans everytime they pass by the restaurant.:)

I would go for something OVER fancy. But something that will stick into people's minds like with one syllable or something repetitive like: Hot Hot Hot!! with a strap line of: Mediterranean cuisine for you to enjoy.
