Actually it depends on the area.South coasts of Turkey is really hot around 35 C. if you are going to istanbul, it is around 25 C and not too darned high,even cool in the evening. Ankara is hotter in afternoons,cooler in evening than it is in istanbul. Generally it is usulally sunny in may .

The weather is just lovely in most parts of Turkey in May. Especially on the Aegean and Mediterranean coastlines. The temp. must be around 20-30. It will get hot in July and August, but not in May.
