What is Mutafyans' (Patriarch of Turkish Armenians ) position against genocide resolution ?

  • Mutafyan against genocide resolution Monday, October 15, 2007 Mutafyan against genocide resolution Patriarch of Turkish Armenians Mesrob Mutafyan II spoke against the resolution on the alleged “Armenian genocide” which is expected to be voted on in the U.S. House of Representatives. “We are concerned that this resolution will affect lives of Armenian citizens in Turkey. We are against it,” he said yesterday. Mutafyan, added that he would write U.S. authorities in an effort to prevent the adoption of the resolution.

Mixed. He talked about 1+million armenians sent out to syrian deserts to die. Other than that he seems to be a loyal turkish citizen. EDIT: Why the thumbs down? These are all facts.
