I want to learn about Turkey.

I'm 14 and want to live in turkey?

  • I have an apartment in turkey and me and my family love it out there, but I seem to have fallen in love with there culture and the people that live there, I've told my parents I want to move but they said they would move if I was older but they wouldn't choose turkey so I was wondering would I be able to go on a exchange thing where I live with other people in turkey for 6 months to a year, and that would help me learn the language which I enjoy learning!

You could always get a group of friends together and go for just the summer. You need to be over the age of 18 to fly alone... unless you have an adult flying with you (18+) or you have your parents consent, I think they need to be with you when you check in. I Used to go to Fethiye in Turkey for the summer. I knew alot of people who liked it there so we would all share an apartment. I now live in Fethiye, I would suggest trying it before moving there though!! Best of luck! xx

I visited Fethiye this summer, and I can see why you would want to live there, It seems like such a nice place! However, I don't think I could permanently live there, or anywhere abroad as the changes are way too drastic for me, but I guess everyone's different! If it's something you really want to do then look into it, but it would be a good idea to have a full understanding of their culture and language first, and wait a few years until you have your GCSE's:)

Stay where you are for a few years. I have a feeling all hell is going to break loose over there.
