Do you need any experience to apply for a civil service job?

I need a part time job? Can anyone help me?

• I am a University student (UWI, St. Augustine) and I need a part time job.I have a lot of free time this semester because most of my classes finishes around lunch time. I've sent applications to various places that have been offering positions like the mall but I haven't gotten a reply. I really think that these people don't give young people a chance sometimes. I mean Ive been at school for like 15 years (including kindergarten. I am 20 now lol) how the heck do you expect me to have "work experience" when I've only been at school nearly all my life. In order for me to have the experience you need to give me a chance. Don't know why they act like that, it's not like I'm sending in an application to apply for a Doctor's position or anything, It's just customer service etc. Basic stuff like that. So can anyone help me?

  I find that getting Part Time work in Trinidad is very difficult. But you could consider Fast food Restaurants, (I saw a new Mario's in Eldorado opening and looking for workers). Games World in the Mall look to hire students on a Part Time Business You could consider doing some baby sitting or care taking job Try the phone companies Call Centers also. They look for customer service reps If you have any kind of skill that people will find useful, then you could offer your services. Good Luck
