I would like if someone can give me some highlight as to what to expect there. How to prepare, do's and dont's etc.

Answer:
I do, Faculty of Science and Agriculture. There are things you should know: 1- Scocial Sciences and treated like Gods and Science and Agriculture are scoffed by them. 2- Don't be too strung up on liming in SAC (Student Activity Centre) It's highly over-rated and you get talked about. 3- Rituals and the benches opposite belong to a certain ethnic group. You can stay away and be nice, or just not care like other individuals. Getting a couch to sit on is as hard as getting tickets to the Olympics. 4- When you need andvice or an answer, ask atleat three times. Ask Admin, your faculty and your dean. If you call Admin and ask the same question three times, you'll get three answers: only one of which is right. That's why you ask around. 5- Don't expect U.W.I (the institutions and the people) to help. You have to seek your own advancement. You have to seek your own interest and hunt down what you want, because no one will help you. 6- Don't buy Yvettes chicken or beef pies... they're the worse. Stick to cheese or potatoe. 7- Don't work so hard in 1st year, only 2nd year and 3rd year grades really count towards your final GPA. 8- Be prepared for a bunch of round around in U.W.I. Nothing can be done in one day and you would realise very quickly how disorganised and doh-carish the place is. 9- Tutorials are important, don't miss them. You can miss a couple classes. 10- IN your first year, prepare for a horrible schedule. There are times when you would have a calss in the morning, then you won't have anything for 4 hours. Be prepared for havibng no classes on Friday, then suddenly you have a 1hour class on Friday afternoon. 11- Schedules change all the time. They won't be sorted out until like the 3rd week into the Semester so be prepared for that. Best place to check continuously is online. 12- Be aware of your progress and grading. They make mistakes all the time so you have to count your courses and credits for yourself and keep record of it. 13- I won't recommend you swim in that pool... lol for your own safety. 14- Make friends with the 2nd and 3rd years... they're the ones who can give you the best advice etc. Other than that........ have fun!!! :-)
