Brandon, Manitoba?

Is there a hotel in Brandon, Manitoba that will rent rooms without use of a credit card or drivers license?

• OK, lets do this again. Second time's the charm? I want to take a trip out to Brandon for a weekend...so I will need a hotel room. However...I don't have a credit card, nor do I have a drivers license. Keeping in mind that hotels generally require both...is there somewhere that doesn't require either? A place that has WiFi would be preferable.

  Lakeview Inn and Suites will take you without a credit card but, like all other hotels, they will insist on a damage deposit of $100-$200 or so which will be returned to you on check out as long as there are no extra charges over and above the room charge including damages and such. All hotels will do that if you don't have a credit card. As for ID, a drivers license is just the easiest form but if you don't have that they will accept any official ID with a photo on it so that they know who they are renting to in the event of a problem. Again, that will be standard with any hotel renting a room regardless of where they are. Lakeveiw Inn and Suites is a great hotel. Right next to a Perkins/Denny's type restaurant and a bunch of other restaurants. It's also got WiFi, clean rooms and a not bad continental breakfast. I stay there all the time when I go there for work (which I do a few times a year).
