Hi i am planning visit to Victoria island on coming Monday 19th,08. Will places to visit at Victoria island be open or closed? Victoria island, British Columbia, Canada....

Most touristy/shopping will be open in Victoria on Victoria Day. (By the way the island's name is Vancouver Island, not Victoria Island.) Getting around downtown could be a bit tricky as there will be street closures due to the parade. Getting to Victoria depends on where you're coming from. Ferry or airline are your only two options.
