Has anyone ever been to Nova Scotia?

  • I know its not a typical honeymoon place but it just looks beautiful, what is there to do there? Is it worth going? Just any info, thanks :)

    Nova Scotia is lovely. The largest city is Halifax, it has everything to do that any major North American city does - live theatre, concerts, cinema, shopping, sports events, etc... But, I recommend that you take some time and tour. A few areas are particularly interesting. Annapolis Valley - particularly in cherry blossom time - the home of Longfellow's Evangeline. Pleasant. Odd climate quirk, it's the most temperate climate on the east coast north of NY. There are orchards and vineyards. Cape Breton Island - largest population of Scottish Gaelic speakers in the world. Spectacular coastal scenery. Go by motorcycle if possible. Go to a ceilidh. Learn what "An toir thu dhomh pòg?" means... South Shore - rugged scenery, famous Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg, Mahone Bay. A bit touristy, but pretty dramatic area. Remnants of the grand banks fishery, world heritage site. The Nova Scotia tourist board has a publication "Doers and Dreamers" guide to NS. It's available for free, if you tick the right box on their website. Bon Voyage!

Yes, it is wonderful place there are lots of thing to do Halifax is best place that you can go because it got many bars and pub lots of concert happen insummer it got many victorian style building halifax waterfront is biggest of its kind in the world There are huge farmer market that you can go on the weekend There are many museum in halifax there are lots of site out near halifax like peggy cove which has most famous lighthouse in eastern North America, it got good restraunut near that lighthouse Lunerburg is one hour drive from halifax, but it is world heritage site because they contain lots of german building where german live long time ago The valley is wonderful, They got wonderful place to visit in summer and fall espically in near halloweenv where the people set up halloween decoration and they are nice to look at the valley landscape is so red, so it look nice Cape Breaton is another land that I yet talk about check interneet on nova scotia tourism most of people who go to nova scotia come back wishing that they has more time to explore nova scotia
