How much is the price of a small flat in London these days?

Posting from Canada to London, England?

  • Hi, I'm in Canada for a little while on holiday but I want to post some small stuff (like a small USB memory stick with loads of stuff on it) to a friend over in the UK. But I just checked Canada Post, and the prices are absolutely ridiculous for posting such a small parcel out. I want a service that can deliver out within 7 business days maximum at a reasonable price for such a small light parcel. I am based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada nearer the West end... and shipping out to London, UK. So are there any other cheaper faster postal services I can use within Canada to post out? It's meant to be for a friend's birthday and I need it to get there within a week! Canada Post are charging around 60 CDN for it!!!! Too much for such a small parcel. Any other options? I would really appreciate it if you could help! Thanks! :)

    UPS PUROLATER ...any courier company Its not the destination or the company that is causing you the high cost as much as its the fact you want it delivered so quickly. I sent a uniform suit jacket to Jakarta a few months ago and it cost me $16 but I didn't care that it would take over 2 weeks to get there.

$60? Are you sure? I've mailed parcels to the UK for much less using Canada Post. Put your stuff into one of the padded envelopes you can buy and take it right to the post office and ask them how much it will be. I think you read the website incorrectly or something.

No, there aren't any other options. Canada Post prices are ridiculous - but FedEx and UPS are even more ridiculous.

Try again. I used to post medium, heavy boxes to South Korea for about $20 CDN. A small package can go be posted internationally for way less than $60.
