What steps do i need to take to recover a 4X8 slate on a wooden frame pool table with a new cloth... ?

• the table is a 4x8 slate... duffern games room table. the slate is in 3 pieces. i need to take the table apart and reset the slate as a screw that holds the slate to the bed snapped as we were moving it. I assembled the table anyway and let the kids play but in the new year i want to reset it.

  You can go to refelting.com and it shows you step by step how to refelt your pool table. Go to the website and check it out. If it looks like it might be too difficult for you to do then I would recommend hiring a professional to do it for you.It will probably cost between $200 and $400 dollars depending on the cloth you choose.I would recommend simonis 860, best cloth you can get in my opinion. Just call your local pool hall or bar and ask who does their tables.My brother and I redid his table following the directions on refelting.com and it turned out great but if you don't think you can handle it then by all means hire a pro.
