How to hit a snowboard jump?

Pointers on how to hit a Jump shot?

  • I can jump just fine with my jump cue but I can't jump with my regular cue at all.

  • Answer:

Jumping with your playing cue is extremely difficult, especially if you're trying to clear a full object ball. If you only need to hop over the edge of it, it's more doable. Maybe try jumping over an old shaft or piece of chalk first and work your way up. But it's pretty much the same technique as using a regular jump cue: jack up, 30-45 degrees (you may need to move your grip hand up to give you a better range of motion), and snap your wrist through the cue ball, aiming at or just below the core center of the cue ball. Good luck!

when jumping the cue ball, the angle needed depends on how soon you need to get the cue ball up. if the jump is close, you must jack up more, if the jump is like half table, your stick is more level. so just jack up and pound down just below center of cue ball, you will figure out hard hard you need to hit the cue ball by practiceing your self. gl.
