This is how you do it the smart way: Calculate the mass of the ball using a bathroom scale find the displacement(including angles) that you want. Now get a stop watch and estimate the total time of you hitting the ball.Knowing that the initial velocity(Vi) is 0m/s, find the final velocity(Vf). The givens are: m= whatever "kg" Δd-> = whatever "m" Δt= your estimated time (Important) "s" Vi= 0 "m/s" you can now calculate the final velocity using Δd=(Vi+Vf)/2*Δt After finding Vf you can now use the equation Vf=Vi+aΔt *rearrange to find a (acceleration) NOW knowing your acceleration you can use the formula Fnet=ma (Newton's Second Law) Sub your value for m(mass) and your acceleration (a) to find the Fnet (Don't worry about friction since it's a ball. Therefore the force of friction is low.) ....Actually just forget about everything and just hit the ball (use one hand to support the stick and use the stabbing motion on the ball).

if u are right handed u put your right hand in the back about 6 inches from back hold loosely i personaly put my chest down almost touching the stick and then you can aim easier hit the cue ball a little below middle.

sharpen up your coordination
