If you are talking about the shaft, you can probably use rubbing alcohol. I use it all the time on my Predator shaft, and it works wonders for cleaning. After you use it though, you are going to want to banish the shaft. Take a piece of raw leather and rub the shaft down good.

What i do is get a damp cloth and run it up and down the cue then i get a towel or a dry cloth to dry it so it doesnt get worked, it cleans the cue perfectly, hope i helped.
