I need proof that you can improve gymnastics skills by practicing (like online in a paper or somtehing?)?

I am a gymnast too<3 Anyways, mentally picturing a routine in your head will help you to do better, it's proven! :D On a piece of paper it could help you to picture the motions and would therefore improve your skills. And also if this gym owner never coached gymnastics or did gymnastics than they have no clue what they're talking about! So yes, you're right! Hope this helped :] Brianna!

If what Brianna said was what you meant, then yes. visualization does help with the physical motion, by allowing your mind and body to anticipate and plan subconsciously for the actions you are about to do, and if you have muscle memory for parts of the routine, then it doubly helps, as your body already knows how to do parts of it. I use this technique a lot when I learn new skills.
