I have a question about the Olympics?

  • okay I dont pay atention a hole lot to the Olympics but are they like every four years. and now we have the winter Olympics(why are they different? like in what form besides being winter? An are they less famous because I remember everyone talking about the beijin Olympics but i barely hear about the winter olympics? and my main question is how ofter are they are they like every 4 years? cuz I was watching the gaico commercial and they say how this guy sister died before the big race and he promise her that he will win gold but he lost BUT THEN SIX YEARS LATER he won. so are they every 6 years or something?

    Both the summer and winter olympics occur every 4 years but olympiads have been held biennially since 1994. Ex. Summer-2012,2008,2004... Winter-2010,2006,2002... All winter olympic sports involve snow or ice. All other sports go to the summer olympics. The summer olympics generally get more press because they have more sports, and much of the world doesn't compete in the winter olympics for obvious climate-related reasons.
