What conflicts surrounded the Olympic torch run preceding the olympics?

How does one become selected to run the Olympic Torch?

• Hi everyone out there! When I was younger I had this dream that some day I would be an Olympic Athlete but that didn’t happen. And it’s still my biggest dream to one day run the Olympic Torch. I love the whole Idea of the Olympic Games and the Torch and their meaning. And I want to be one of the few selected people every 2 years that get to run the Olympic Torch. I’ve looked every where to find out how to become a torch runner but I can’t find out how. One day my brother told me about Yahoo Answers so I though I would give it a try. So if anyone out there knows how I can become an Olympic Torch runner please let me know what I have to do. Thank you!
