How do you do front and back handsprings?

Is it better to do front or back handsprings?

    back handsprings are easier to do. your legs are already designed to bend in a way that provides much more height in your jump going backward (allowing for more time to complete the rotation onto your hands). going forward, your arms have to do more work in the "spring" part since your legs provide more forward motion going that direction than vertical. standing back handsprings are easier than standing front handsprings, however if a round-off is performed after a short sprint, a back handspring becomes even easier.

Which ever is easier for you! Some people think front handsprings are easier, and others think that back handsprings are easier. It's easier to do a series, like back handspring back tuck or back handspring x-out, if you do back handsprings, but like I said, what ever is easier for you!

Both are easy, you just have to find out wich one is easy for U. For me right now the front handspring is easiest for me. I am just getting over the fear of doing a back handspring. But now i can do it!yay me. But if you learn the backhand sprnig, you can do sooo much more, like : back tuck, round-of back handspring ect... Both are lots of funn~! ~*Destinee*~
